Contest Runs June 9th to July 8th, 2008
We are pleased to present our annual Photo Contest, this years theme is "The World Around You"  Listed below are the three categories you are invited to enter.  Each category focuses on a different type of photography. 

Winners will be announced, prizes presented, and all entries will be on display at Photo Day, Sunday July 13th, at the Elsie Perrin Williams Estate.

 We are looking for your best scenery photos, show us the beatuy of the world around you.

First Prize: 
$150 Gift Certificate from Stan C. Reade Photo, 1GB Lexar Memory Card and a One Year Membership to MyPhotoclub.com.

2nd Prize:
LowePro Camera Bag, and a $25.00 Gift Certificate from Stan C. Reade Photo.
People:
(Young-Old-At Rest or Play)
People make great subjects, expressions and movements always make for great shot.  Show us your people photos.

First Prize:
Ticket on Stan C. Reade Photo's fall Colours tour (Trains and Ruins), 1GB Lexar Memory Card and a One Year Membership to MyPhotoClub.com.

Second Prize:
LowePro Camera Bag, and a $75.00 Gift Certificate for Digital Printing and Enlargments at Stan C.  Reade Photo and a compact LowePro  Camera Bag.

Creatures Great and Small: (Animals, Birds, Insects)
Animals, Birds, Insects are always great subjects and in this category we want you to show us your favourite shot of two, four or many legged creatures.

First Prize:

Second Prize:
Mono Pod, and a $25.00 Gift Certificate from Stan C. Reade Photo.
Grand Prize - Best in Show
The best image from the three catigories will be judged for a Grand Prize Best in Show ... The Grand Prize is a Fuji Z20 Digital Camera.

Fuji Z20 fd Camera

How to Enter

An entry form must be filled out and attached to the back of each photo entered into the contest.  Entry forms are available online Click Here or pick up at Stan C. Reade Photo.

2008 Contest Rules

Entry fee is $5.00 for every three entries you submit to the contest.  Proceeds from the entry fee will be donated in memory of Shelby Gagne to Children's Health Foundation.  Shelby is the three year old grand daughter of good friends and long time clients Carol and Michael McHugh.  Shelby lost her courageous battle to cancer two years ago, and we try to support her legacy through different events each year.

  • Photo can be any size we recommend to enlarge your image to 5x7 or 8x10.
  • Print submission required for all categories
  • You may enter more than one category
  • 3 Entries per $5.00 Entry Fee
  • Photos will Not be returned (However, photos may be retrieved after the contest by visiting Stan C. Reade Photo, please note we are not responsible if photo becomes lost or damaged)
