People to Meet:
Sales representatives from Canon, Nikon, Minolta, Pentax, Olympus, Fuji, Tamron, Manfrotto, Gitzo, Tamrac, Mamiya, Hasselblad, Leica, Photogenic, Lexar and Polaroid will be on hand for Demonstrations and have Cameras, Lenses and Digital Equipment for you to test. 

Equipment to Test:
With a drivers licence and a credit card  you may try out some of the equipment that our manufacturers have on display.  Bring your camera and test out that lens you have been thinking about, or not sure about digital well now is your chance to take one for a test drive.

Camera Work Shops - "Macro and Close-up Photography"  Learn techniques on taking photos close-up,  how to use reflectors, effective ways to use fill flash and creative techniques with filters.

Photo Work Shop by "Brian Wilsdon LPPO" - Join Brian for this interesting work shop titled "Window Light", you will be looking at creative ways to use natural lighting to take pictures.  Brian is a professional photographer from St. Thomas and we are excited to have him share his photographic skills with us at Photo Day.

Digital Camera Work Shops- "Easy steps to using your  Digital Camera" In this new digital camera age there is may questions to answer when finding what digital camera is right for you. This seminar will help you with pixel size, how big of an enlargement you can make from a specific camera, how easy they are to use and quick photo tips for using your camera.

Adobe Photo Shop Seminars - If you have a digital camera, chances are you have tried Adobe Photoshop.  We will be hosting a workshop on  Adobe.  This is a good basics start to the  world of Adobe. We are pleased to have Gilles Sweet-Bouley and Dave Homer, instructors from Fanshaw College Photo Program presenting this workshop.

Glamour Picture Shoot and Using Filters - Dave Hill from Booth Photographic and Kinderman Photo will be presenting a workshop on how a Glamour Photo Shoot is done, using large light panels, softboxes and location flash units.  He will also be be demonstrating creative uses of filters for both film and digital photography.

Looking for Digital Camera and Printing Solutions - Chris Pollard from Fuji Photo Film Canada will be joining us this year to demonstrate the ease of the new Fuji S2 digital Single Lens Reflex Camera and how it works with the Fuji Pictrography Digital Printing System. You will learn ways to turn this system into a profitable weekend photo business or an excellent addition to an existing photo business.

Photo Shoot - Models will be on hand to give photographers the chance to take photos in all sorts of back drops and lighting situations. If you have ever though of trying your hand at Fashion or Portrait photography now is your chance. Models provided by Elegance Modelling.

Irish Dancers - Stan C. Reade is proud to present two performances presented by the BUTLER FEARON SCHOOL OF IRISH DANCING.   A presentation not to be missed, also a great time to try your hand at action photography. 

Photo Fashion Show - McCullochs costumers has put together a colourful fashion presentation.  The theme this year is Famous People.  Keep your camera handy there will be some great photo opportunities.

Martial Arts Demonstrations - The Okinawan Budoki Martial Arts school will give you an opportunity to test your action photography, through demonstrations of skill and co-ordination.  They will be doing demonstrations through out the day.

Performance by Mosaic - We are pleased to have Catherine McInnes, Laurraine Sigouin, and Jake Levesque the amazing musicians that make up Mosaic back this year to perform for us.  Their unique blend of harmony will make your visit to photo day complete. Meet Mosaic at their web site.
