Workshop -  Photo and Digital Lighting Techniques

Lighting does not have to be complicated, this workshop will show you easy lighting techniques and set ups.  You will have a chance to photograph a model and experiment with a few lighting and reflector set ups.  Your host for the evening Dave Hill from Booth Photographic, celebrates 40 years experience in the photo industry and 28 years of servicing Stan C. Reade.  David Hill A.R.P.S.(Associate or the Royal Photographic Society), also studied for 2 years at the University of Calgary, Banff School of Fine Arts, then Ryerson University.

This lighting seminar  is a  approach to lighting people and products the theme and lecture title Harnessing Technology to Create Artistry we will show how to  analyze people's faces and light properly.  Lighting for small product made easy with a digital box.  Then a discussion about light color temperature and the different light sources. Tungsten, Quartz, Xenon Metal Halide, and the ultimate Electronic Flash
 
This year we will do the one light challenge then for something really exciting using 3 lights we will do New York style bridal lighting this is one of the hardest techniques,  lighting a bride in wedding white and she wants all the detail of the dress to show and have pleasing face detail.  Recently I was asked by a young photographer how important is lighting?  Well close your eyes, there is the world without light,  LIGHT IS EVERYTHING.

Workshop -  Adboe Photo, Computer and Printing Techniques

If you have a digital camera, chances are you have tried Adobe Photoshop, this workshop will focus on techniques using Adobe Photoshop and Elements.  We will spend some time working on Adobe, working on computer basics, like buring cd's, filing images, and working with printers.

Workshop -  Digital 101 - a jump start to Digital Photography

This is a repeat of our January 24th workshop, a great getting started with Digital Workshop.  We will cover memory, computer imput, simple Adobe Photoshop tips and tricks, and printing.  You will also have some time for some one on one questions or help with your camera.  Still deciding on a digital camera, then join us to help find the camera that best suits your needs.

Workshop -  The joy of digital photography - Intermediate Digital

This is a more in depth digital workshop, we will focus on photo techniques and defferent methods to add dramatic effects to your photos.  We will spend some time with a couple of Adobe Photo projects and show easy techniques to turn you digital images into computer slide show, to view on screen or project on a screen to an audience.
